What this page is

The City Planner is a free design tool for ordering a printed model from the ECM Model 64 shop on Etsy. Using it does not place an order or charge you anything. You order and pay on Etsy, under Etsy's terms and our shop's policies there.

The preview and the model

• Models are made from open map data (OpenStreetMap, Overture Maps and open elevation data). That data is built by volunteers and agencies, and it can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Buildings may be missing or simplified.
• The preview is the model we would print, but it is not a photograph. Layer lines, colours on your screen and the finish of the filament all look different in real life. Very thin details, such as a narrow spire or a railing, can be too fine for the printer. They may print simplified or not at all.
• Please check the tile, size and colours before you order. The size must match the size you choose on Etsy.

Landmarks and names

Models show places as they appear in public map data. Names and designs of some landmarks and buildings are trademarks or copyrights of their owners. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by them. We may decline or change an order where reproducing something would need a permission we do not have.

The text you put on the frame must be yours to use, and must not be offensive or infringe anyone's rights. We may decline an order that does not meet this.

Your information

The page makes a model of the area of the map you choose, and nothing else. It does not ask for or keep personal information, and it uses no cookies or tracking. The privacy page explains exactly what happens to what you enter.

The personalisation code

The code you copy describes your model: the place, size, colours and name. Paste it into the personalisation box when you order on Etsy. If the box is left blank, or the code cannot be read, we will message you on Etsy before printing anything.

Fair use of the preview server

Please use the page as a person would. Do not send automated requests, scrape it, or try to overload it. We may limit or block traffic that does.

The product

Our models are decorative objects for display. They are not toys and are not suitable for children under 14. They contain small parts.

No warranty

The page is provided as it is, and may change or be unavailable at times. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from using it. This does not affect your rights as a consumer, including those you have on Etsy orders.

Credits

The map data, elevation data, fonts and software we use are credited on the credits and licences page.

Languages

The page is offered in several languages for your convenience. These terms and the privacy page are in English; if a translation of the page ever differs from them, the English text applies.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without taking away any protection the law of your own country gives you as a consumer.
